The course is designed to orient new entrants of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to identify the agency’s mission-vision, thrusts as well as the services available to its clientele.  This also includes basic areas of personnel administration, performance management system and employee benefits and career growth and development programs. Likewise, participants must be aware of the professional behavior that the organization requires including laws and regulations affecting their employment to give them greater sense of commitment from their work.         

The course also equips the participants with knowledge on the BIR operations enabling them to build an effective and cooperative work group.

Information Security Awareness Briefing 

The Information Security Awareness Briefing was designed to provide awareness and training to all BIR officials and employees about information security, good information security practices, and related policies in order to protect information assets from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification and securing it to prevent from loss or destruction.

Briefing on Data Privacy Act of 2012

The Briefing on Data Privacy Act was designed to provide awareness and training to all BIR officials and employees about the proper collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, and erasure or destruction of personal data to ensure that the Bureau complies with the international standards for data protection set by the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
